ENDLESS APPETIZERS!; ENDLESS WAIT FOR BILL?; AN ENDING IN CUFFS AND COURT DATE FOR TWO WOMEN
An off duty police officer, working security at TGI Fridays in Oak Lawn observed two black females, who were later identified as Ivori Hardy and Juvona Camel attempting to leave the restaurant without allegedly paying their bill.
The two women had ordered the “Endless Appetizers” and a couple of alcoholic drinks while at the establishment. According to the officer, the two women finished eating and quickly headed toward the door.
As they were attempting to leave, the officer asked the two women if they paid the bill. One of the two women allegedly told the officer, “She taking too long I left $40 on table”. The two women then proceeded to their automobile.
The manager reported that the two only left $20 on the table even though the bill was $28.28. The off duty officer reported the incident along with the description of the auto, the license plate number and a description of the two women, which was broadcast on the police radio.
Evergreen Park Police stopped the vehicle near 95th and Fairfield and positively identified the two women. The women were charged with theft. Camel, 31, and Hardy, 27, live in Chicago. According to a check of the county records, neither individual is being held in custody while awaiting the disposition of the case.

TAKING ISSUE WITH ATTACKS ON INDIVIDUAL TRUSTEES
Multiple tipsters scolded us for not pointing out that the latest rant from one of Mayor Sandra Bury’s appointees, Norm “stormin” Lepescu, was in violation of the rules since Stormin Norman was speaking to one Trustee. Others asked what if anything his diatrabe had to do with Oak Lawn business and openly asked if they could simply read recipes during the public comment portion of the meeting. The common theme was that Bury should have stopped Lepescu and wouldn’t have let one of her allies take such an attack from a resident.
