Village Clerk Jane Quinlan will be hosting a political fundraiser at Palermo’s Restaurant on Thursday, November 12.
Quinlan may have officially opened the fundraising season for the 2017 elections. In a letter dated October 14, sent to residents and others from Supporters for Jane Quinlan, her political committee, Quinlan asks for support and extends an invitation to her yearly fundraiser. Quinlan writes that the job of Village Clerk “is a calling for me and I will continue to be understanding and diplomatic at all times as your Village Clerk.”
In the letter, Quinlan acknowledges that “it has been almost three years since my last re-election and I am working harder than ever to serve the Village of Oak Lawn.”
Jane Quinlan is a Master Municipal Clerk, certified by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks in 2014. She is the first Master Municipal Clerk to serve as Village Clerk in Oak Lawn. She is also likely the last, due to new term limits enacted by Mayor Sandra Bury’s administration.
Tickets to the event cost $65, but a table for 10 can be reserved for $550, which seems to include food, beverages, and entertainment.
