Oak Lawn suffered its first crime related to video gaming recently according to a woman who called police to Fox’s Restaurant at 9240 S. Cicero.
The victim claims that she was playing the gaming slots at Fox’s at about 7 pm on a recent Wednesday evening and was winning when she decided to go to the washroom. She claims that she left $84 in winnings on the machine when duty called.
When she returned to her chair by the video gaming machine, she discovered that the money had been taken. The victim believes that the woman who was sitting next to her and left decided to cash the money in herself and leave the premises. Unfortunately, her description to the police leaves many possible suspects and few leads. The suspect woman is described as a heavyset black forty to forty five year old female.
