A former Oak Lawn resident, convicted of threatening a Circuit Court Judge over a decade ago, Richard J. Reyna, has failed to adhere to terms of his parole from prison and is wanted on a warrant in Wisconsin.
Reyna, who previously lived at 9007 S. Central, according to the Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections, was found guilty of threatening a circuit court judge and sentenced to prison. Reyna, 53, threatened harm to a Circuit Court Judge in 2006 according to the Wisconsin Department of Community corrections. He was released to the department in 2017 after being released from prison. However, he allegedly failed to appear for a meeting with his parole agent in June and Wisconsin authorities admit that they do not know where he is at this time.
Reyna reportedly does have family, friends, and associates in both Illinois and Wisconsin, in particular, the Berlin, Green Lake County area of Wisconsin and his former home of Oak Lawn. He also resided in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Reyna is a 6’ft” white male and is 300 pounds with a stocky build and brown eyes. He is balding and has a light skin tone. His speech is gruff or harsh and has corrected vision. Reyna does not have any tattoos, but does have a scar on his right knee and left arm.
The Department of Community Corrections has issued a warrant and has warned citizens that they should not attempt to stop or detain this individual. Instead, you should immediately notify law enforcement if you see Reyna. Anonymous tips may also be provided for this or any other wanted suspect.
