Some police cases involve butt heads and some involve headbutts.
In the first incident on the 12th of September, the police were called to the 9200 block of Central Avenue investigate a battery.
The landlord of the property had been notified that one of his tenants was causing a disturbance by allegedly making noise in his basement unit. The landlord claimed that the unit door was open and he stood in the door way and called into the unit.
The landlord told the officer that the tenant then appeared and began yelling at the landlord. When yelling apparently wasn’t moving the landlord, the tenant allegedly head butted the landlord moving him out of the way.
The landlord called the police and signed a complaint for battery. The tenant, Marc Schade, told the police that he didn’t want the landlord in his unit. Schade, a 25 year old white male, lives at the Oak Lawn residence. He was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.
A day later, the police were called at about 1:15 a.m. to the 9500 block of Mayfield to investigate a woman screaming.
When the officer arrived on the scene he found a female screaming in the parking lot. The officer inquired and found out that the woman, Teresa Jackson, was screaming because her car had been previously towed.
The officer asked Jackson to lower her voice several times because she was allegedly causing a disturbance for the neighbors. Despite the officer’s request, Jackson allegedly continued screaming for what the officer believed was “no apparent reason”. The officer asked Jackson to calm down and even offered to let her sit inside the squad to compose herself. The officer alleged that Jackson yelled and screamed continuously for five minutes.
Another resident had complained that she wasn’t able to sleep due to the yelling and screaming. The other resident signed a complaint and Jackson was charged with disorderly conduct. Jackson, is a 32 year old black female and provided an Oak Lawn address to the officer.
