Oak Lawn police officers were dispatched to TC’s Too Bar at 99th and Southwest Highway with a report of multiple white male and white females fighting in the parking lot.
When the officers arrived, several people were in the parking lot but the officers did not see any fight occurring. The officers approached two females, Frances McGinley and Brittany Calatayud, who reportedly told the officers that another woman, in the bar, had caused the disturbance.
The officers located the other woman, Crystal Lopez, who according to police reports, told the officers “nothing happened”. The officers claimed that Lopez was uncooperative, became irate and agitated. The officers alleged that for those reasons she was placed into handcuffs.
The officers noted that Lopez had a small cut on her right thigh, which she explained by allegedly telling the officer’s “I fell”. Oak Lawn’s fire department was called to treat Lopez.
When the officer returned to speak to McGinley and Calatayud, they also became uncooperative according to the police. The officers alleged that McGinley and Calatayud continuously changed their description of what happened claiming the altercation was verbal and not physical. The officer observed a minor injury to Calatayud’s foot and another witness told the officers that the altercation was physical.
Other patrons were allegedly “alarmed and disturbed” by the incident and the bar’s employee signed a complaint against all three women for disorderly conduct.
McGinley, a 25 year old white woman provided an Oak Lawn address. Calatayud, a 26 year old white woman, provided a separate Oak Lawn address. Crystal Lopez, a 30 year old white woman, provided another Oak Lawn address.
