Moraine Valley Community College has scheduled a Job Fair for Thursday October 19th from 2 to 5 p.m. while the Local 150 Operating Engineers have scheduled dates to take applications for its Apprenticeship program.
Moraine Students, alumni and community members who are seeking hourly or salary jobs or paid or non-paid internships can network with a variety of quality employers that have job openings during Moraine Valley Community College’s Fall Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. The free fair will be in the Moraine Business and Conference Center (Building M), on campus, 9000 W. College Pkwy. in Palos Hills.
Professional business attire and resumés are required for entry. Registration is not required. A complete list of companies expected to attend the fair and additional information can be found at morainevalley.edu/events/job-fair.
Beginning November 1st, the Local 150 Operating Engineers will be accepting applications at various locations, including its own headquarters in Countryside. The dates and times are scheduled below.
Apprenticeship applicants must have graduated from high school or received a GED. All Oak Lawn residents that are 18 or older are eligible if they can read, write and speak the English language and pass a drug test.
