The Oak Lawn Park District in cooperation with the Special Recreation Athletic Support Association (SRASA) will host the 38th Annual Volleyball for Charity Co-Rec Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, April 7th.
Volleyball for Charity (VFC) began 38 years ago by the Clark Family as a fundraising effort benefiting organizations that support individuals with special needs and their families. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Park Lawn and SRASA.
The tournament will run between 8:00am-3:00pm. Tournament locations include the Community Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave. Oak Lawn, IL , Mother McAuley, 3737 W 99th St, Chicago, IL, and Frontier Park 9807 Sayre Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL.
Adults ages 18 and up are encouraged to register a team today! Registration for the tournament is $350 and includes eight tournament t-shirts. A $450 registration option is also available and includes eight tournament t-shirts and eight after party tickets to 115 Bourbon Street. Registration and donation opportunities are available online, www.volleyballforcharity.org, or at any park district facility. The registration deadline is Sunday, April 1st.
The after party will be at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 West 115th Street Merrionette Park, IL, from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Tickets are available at the door for $35 each. A ticket includes four hours of open bar, door prizes, a buffet dinner, DJ and more! Premium raffles will be available for an additional cost.
