A manager at the Oak Lawn Hilton called the police for a disturbance call when a Chicago Ridge man made a reasonable request and allegedly followed it up with an allegedly disturbing request.
According to the manager, Leivaunte Dortch entered the Hilton Hotel and asked to speak to a woman who was staying in one of the rooms. The hotel manager claims that they followed procedure and called the room to tell the woman that Leivaaunte Dortch was in the lobby and wanted to come to her room. The woman said she didn’t know anyone by that name. So, the clerk told Dortch that she wouldn’t give him the room number.
Dortch allegedly became angry and said “f… you” and this is “bull….” to the manager. According to the manager, Dortch then said “suck my d…” and allegedly produced it in her presence.
The manager declined the offer and told Dortch to leave the hotel. The manager then called the police as Dortch left the building.
When the police arrived, the manager related the above incident and pointed to Dortch who was walking in the parking lot, according to the police officer.
Dortch allegedly admitted to being in the hotel and requesting the room number of one of the guests. According to the police officer, Dortch admitted that he told the manager to suck his (expletive) but he denied that he ever exposed himself to the manager or anyone else.
Dortch was taken into custody and during that time the officer claimed that Dortch would not place his feet inside the squad and used his foot to prevent the officer from closing the car door.
Dortch, a 25 year old black male, with a Chicago Ridge address, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was also given a criminal trespass warning and is not welcome back on the Hilton Hotel property.
