On June 20th, Oak Lawn police officers were called to a condo in the 9500 block of Mayfield for a disturbance complaint.
The victim told the officers that a dispute had been ongoing for about a year with a tenant on another floor. Jeanne Beaudreau, the tenant from the first floor, was allegedly in her father’s unit near the victim’s unit. According to the victim, Beaudraeu was allegedly screaming and yelling obscenities about the victim.
The victim claimed that she heard Beaudraeu yell that she should just push her down and kill her. When the victim’s husband heard her yelling, he confronted Beaudraeu at which time, he claimed, Beaudraeu spewed obscenities.
The officer was tasked with speaking with Beaudraeu, who allegedly told him she did not commit a disturbance and instead was tired of all the “body slamming” coming from the victim’s unit. The police officer left Beaudraeu with advice to call if she hears a disturbance. He also issued her a village ordinance violation. Beaudreau is a 65 year old white female with an Oak Lawn address. No clarification was issued as to whether the “body slamming” is some kind of wrestling re-enactment or something else.
On July 4th at 3:30 a.m. a noise disturbance resulted in the police traveling to the 6400 block of 89th place.
The police knew right away that they were in the right pace because they claim that they heard the music coming from the rear of a house and they were on the street. They also recognized the house because they had been there around 3:00 a.m. also.
Michelle Chlebek and several guests were in the backyard. She was issued a village ordinance citation for the noise disturbance. The music was turned off and peace was restored to the street.
