An Oak Lawn Man Isn’t Going to Lie (At least not twice)
When an Oak Lawn Police officer claimed that he smelled Cannabis as he passed Kyle Jones near 90th and Cicero, he asked if the Oak Lawn man had cannabis on him. Jones said “no” and then the officer told Jones that he could smell it. Jones allegedly remarked, “I’m not going to lie, I have a blunt”. Sure enough, the second response was not a lie according to the police who claim to have found the blunt. Jones was issued an Oak Lawn Village Ordinance Violation ticket. Jones, a 26 year old black male, provided an Oak Lawn address for his residence.
It must have fallen off the truck
The police filed a “burglary to motor vehicle” report after a man called to say that he was making a delivery to the Salvation Army on July 25th when he left the company iPad in the rear open compartment of the box truck, which was backed up into the loading dock. When he returned to the truck, he saw that the iPad was missing.
Hazel Crest Man Relieved to Be In Oak Lawn
An Oak Lawn homeowner in the area of 95th and Lacrosse got more than an eyeful when she looked outside her home. She claimed that she saw a man urinating in the street outside her home. When the police arrived Julian Marae Simmons, was allegedly standing in the street by what police described as a small stream of urine. He allegedly told the police he was doing locating work for the gas company, had to urinate, couldn’t hold it any longer and relieved himself near his truck. Simmons, a 28 year old black male, from Hazel Crest was given a ticket for public indecency.
An Oak Lawn Man’s And Chicago Woman’s Indecency Draw Resident’s Interest
An Oak Lawn homeowner saw a suspicious car parked on the street at 7:30 p.m. on July 23rd, and called the police. The called told police that the people in the car were naked and engaging in activity best left for inside a house. When the police arrived, they found two people, a 20 year old man and a 19 year old woman in the car. The woman was partially naked and the man was undressed according to the police. The police did note that the couple had attempted to conceal the activity by putting a blanket over the back windshield. The couple, 19 year old Josee Barrios of Chicago, and 20 year old Miguel Sandoval of Oak Lawn, were issued village ordinance violations for public indecency.
