Rollover Among Attorneys/State Representatives
We recently tipped the news that former Cook County Circuit Court Judge Denise Filan had “retired”. Her retirement was short lived as she immediately joined her old firm, Odelson & Sterk, which she served as a partner prior to joining the bench 20 years ago.
State Representative Kelly Burke has joined the Odelson & Sterk firm as an Associate. Burke is the State Representative from the 36th District, which covers part of Oak Lawn as well as surrounding suburbs and parts of the City of Chicago.
Burke brings her clout to the firm that saw a former State Representative/Attorney, Lou Lang, retire yesterday from the General Assembly to become a lobbyist. Lang also once worked for Odelson & Sterk.
