Creepy man scares two in Planet Fitness
On January 31st, two female friends were working out at Planet Fitness on Cicero Avenue when they claimed that an older white male was staring at them for about 20 minutes. According to the two claimed that they felt uncomfortable from the special attention the man was providing. According to the health club, the gentleman is a member and others had complained about similar incidents. The man was not charged because there isn’t a crime for staring at people exercising.
Creep Gives Homeowner’s Mailbox a beating
A man complained to police that on January 27th an unknown offender broke off the top of his mailbox. The damage was considerable and the mailbox could not be repaired. The police theorized that the damage was consistent with the top being struck by an unknown blunt object. There were no witnesses and charges could be filed if information is discovered.
Man Creeps off Roadway Onto Parkway
While on patrol, a police officer noticed a blue pick up truck drive off the roadway and onto the parkway to avoid a dead end barrier at 9500 S. Brandt. The driver allegedly then drove onto 95th Street and parked. When questioned, Isidoro Ramirez didn’t have an answer for driving on the parkway around the barrier. He couldn’t produce an insurance card and his license had been previously suspended according to the police. Ramirez, a 50 year old Chicago man, was charged with driving off the roadway, driving on a suspended driver’s license and not having insurance.
Creep damages car
On January 29th, the police were called to the 4800 block of 109th Street when a man said someone had broken the windows on his Dodge Charger. The offender fled in a light brown or tan four door vehicle. The Dodge Charger had a broken windshield, driver’s side windows, passenger side windows, the rear window and the rear taillight broken by the offender. A neighbor said he heard loud noises and then saw a male subject wearing dark clothing running and carrying a baseball bat. The owner of the car couldn’t provide the names of any suspects but wants to pursue charges if the offender is ever found.
