Artists, bingo players, trivia buffs, golf fanatics, ice skaters, and anyone that wants to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is going to love the Oak Lawn Park District in March.
Oak Lawn Park District Community Art Day & Competition is Sunday, March 3rd, from 1:00-3:00pm.
Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to showcase their artwork.
This is a FREE community art gallery with an art competition for youth ages 6-18 and activities for all!
Registration is required and interested residents can do so at park district facilities or online using code 316202-01.
If you don’t have the artistic ability that others possess, you may still want to enjoy the Oak Lawn Park District Family Bingo on Thursday, March 7th, from 4:00-5:00pm. Children of all ages along with a grandparent, parent, or special guest are welcome to join the Oak Lawn Park District’s Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St. Each participant must be registered by Wednesday, March 6th using code 416302-01.
March 12th is the day you can test your Office trivia knowledge at the Oak Lawn Park District’s Stony Creek Restaurant & Banquets, 5850 W. 103rd. in Oak Lawn. Trivia starts at 6:00pm. Drink specials include $2 Miller Lite pints, 6 for $15 domestic buckets or 6 for $20 imports. A buffet will also be available during the event for $5.95 plus tax.

Saint Patrick’s Day is a Sunday and that means extra fun for the Irish and those that pretend to be Irish for one day. Celebrate the holiday with the Oak Lawn Park District Stony Creek Restaurant & Banquets on Sunday, March 17, from 6:00-9:00P. Enjoy a corned beef buffet and live music from The Kennedy Compound. The fee is $25.95 plus tax per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 708-857-2433. Stony Creek Restaurant & Banquets is located at 5850 W. 103rd St.
The Oak Lawn Park District has its own “March Madness” with a 4 Person Scramble at Stony Creek
You can enjoy a day of golf on Saturday, March 23rd with a shotgun start of 9:00am. The fee is $45 per player and includes green fee, cart fee, range balls, lunch and prizes. To reserve your spot or for more information, please call 708-857-2433.
Oak Lawn Park District’s “Hello Spring” Skate with the Easter Bunny is 1:00-2:30pm, on Sunday, March 24. It is an Open Skate with music from a DJ and some favorite Springtime pal visits on and off the ice at the Oak Lawn Ice Arena. Admission is $7 and skate rental costs $3.
