The Need To Speed on a Suspended License
The Oak Lawn Police, while on patrol on Central Avenue just past Southwest Highway saw a vehicle that they claim was traveling 60 miles per hour. The speed limit is 30 miles per hour so the officer made a U-turn and stopped the car.
The driver Jehad Yasin surprisingly told the officer he didn’t have his license with him. The reason for that became clear when the officer checked and found that Yasin’s license had been suspended. There was allegedly also a warrant out for Mr. Yasin.
He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated speeding and driving with a suspended license.
