The Oak Lawn Park District is hosting an annual Easter Egg Hunt, which includes an age-segmented search for eggs, a craft project and a visit with the Easter Bunny at the Stony Creek Golf Course Restaurant and Banquet Facility.
Kids of all ages are in for an extra treat because the Village of Oak Lawn is also hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on the Village Green and a promise to visit with the Easter Bunny. What could go wrong?
Well, both of the local governmental entities are hosting it on the same day, Saturday April 13th. The Village Green hunt is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The park district has one time slot of 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. and then another from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Nobody can explain why the two entities didn’t combine resources for one event.
A local church is joining in the fun on the same day with an Easter Bunny Breakfast. There will be breakfast and games. The cost is $6.00 per person and children under 3 are free.
