The Oak Lawn Park District is inviting residents and public officials to celebrate with the Oak Lawn Park District as it showcases the completed All Inclusive Playground and Columbus Manor Park at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, May 13th at 5:30pm.
Those in attendance will see the new playgrounds, located at 99th & Moody, and enjoy free and fun activities such as an Inclusive Playground Obstacle Course, Park Scavenger Hunt, and a sensory activity.
In celebration of the Oak Lawn Park District’s 75th Anniversary, cupcakes and refreshments will be available (while supplies last). The Park District would like to thank everyone who helped its vision come true including the Board of Commissioners, staff, and patrons.

Phase One renovations focused on adding an All Inclusive Playground. Features include a Sensory Wave Climber, Merry Go ALL, Shadow Play, Biggo Swing, Rocking Raft, Music Section, Net Climber, Bay of Swings, benches and slides.
Phase Two renovations consisted of a new play area at Columbus Manor Park that includes splash pad toys, a playground, and new pathways.
Renovations were made possible thanks to a $300,000 playground matching grant through Illinois Park and Recreation Association, Playcore and their affiliated GameTime and Cunningham Recreation.
